🌟🌷Oregon’s largest tulip festival at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm started by chance in 1985, recommended by a neighbor, and now, in its 39th year, it’s a beloved tradition rooted in family values. 🌷

💖 Opening their fields to the public during Easter weekend, the festival has grown into a communal celebration where families, local groups, and visitors from around the world come together to enjoy the beauty of the blooms. 🎉🌍

When to Go?

The Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival runs from mid-March to early May, reaching its peak in mid-April. 🌷

✨ With blooms lasting only about two weeks, be sure to visit soon to experience the vibrant flowers! 🌼🌈

How much Does it Cost?

There are multiple types of tickets you can purchase.

🎟️ Individual Season Pass for just $65.00! 🌷 With this pass, you’ll have access to the tulip fields anytime from 5 am until an hour after sunset. 🌅 Plus no reservation is needed, so you can show up whenever you like. 🌟

🌅 Sunrise ticket is just $20.00 per adult! 🎟️ Valid for entry from 5 am to 7 am. but you can stay until sunset! 🌷✨

🚁Drone Upgrade is available for just $10.00 and can be purchased only with a Sunrise or Season Pass ticket. 🌅🎟️

🎟️ General Admission ticket is just $15 per adult, you’ll enjoy parking, access to the tulip fields, children’s play area, shuttle service to and from the fields, access to Wooden Shoe Gardens, and more! 🌷🚜 Children 12 and under get in free when accompanied by a ticketed adult. 🎉

🎟️ For the 2024 festival, buy tickets online, as they won’t be sold at the gate. For the latest updates visit the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm website. 🌷One pro tip is – on their website it is written that tickets are non-rufundable and non-changable. 🌷✨ But if you email them mentioning any emergency, they would be happy to reschedule your ticket with no extra cost! I have done that myself!

Drone Shots

Enhance your experience with the Drone Upgrade for just $10.00! 🚁 This upgrade allows you to operate a drone on Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm property, but it can be purchased only with a Sunrise or Season Pass Ticket. 🌅

🎟️ Redeemable for the selected date from 5 am to 7 am, this upgrade offers a unique opportunity to capture stunning aerial footage of the tulip fields. 🌷

Hot Air Ballon Ride

There are two types of rides that you can experience.

🌅 Sunrise Flights:

🎈 Soar high above the breathtaking Wooden Shoe tulip fields in a hot air balloon for an unparalleled adventure! 🌷 Witness nature’s vibrant canvas of colors and blooms from a unique vantage point of above 2000-3000 ft. 💁‍♂️ Expert pilots will guide you to an unforgettable adventure.

👫 Perfect for couples or families.

⏰ Operates only during the Annual Tulip Festival.

💰 $250 for adults, $200 for kids. Includes toast and entry.

⏳ 3-hour experience, 45-60 min flight.

🎈 Tethered Rides:

Do not want to spend $250 for the ride, but still want to get the feel? No worries, they also have an option for a tethered hot air balloon ride at a way lower cost! 💐 🪢 Here, the balloon stays tethered to the ground with ropes, rising to heights of 50-75ft, giving a stunning bird’s eye view of the field!

⏰ Runs Thursday through Sunday, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm (weather permitting).

📋 No reservations are required for these tethered flights.

💰 $20 per adult, $10 per child (under 12).

Family Fun

The farm remains open during light rain, but activities like balloon rides may be canceled in severe weather. Check their website or call ahead for updates on conditions and closures.

☔ Pack rain gear and waterproof shoes/boots if rain is in the forecast. The fields can get very muddy.

👠 Avoid wearing nice shoes or clothing that could get ruined by mud.
